The first website brief does not need to be a long document. Explain what you do, who the offer is for and what needs to change. We can develop the rest around the actual scope.
Describe the main need
It may be a new service overview, a better project portfolio or an easier route to contact. Choose what matters most. If the website has several jobs, put the requirements in the order you need to launch them.
- What do you offer, and who is it for?
- What is missing or not working on the current website?
- What should visitors do next?
- Which features does the first version need?
Send what already exists
A link to your current website, a service list, work examples, a logo or brand guidelines can help. You do not need to rework everything before we talk. We do need to know what is available and what needs preparing.
Agree on how to work together
I am based in Brno, but we can discuss the brief and work in progress online. Available assets, time for feedback and clear responsibilities matter. The communication follows the decisions the project needs.
Before development we agree on the structure, page designs, scope, price and timeline. If you have a design already, we review its readiness for implementation. Otherwise we start with design. The brief develops through concrete decisions rather than guesses.
What to send first
A short message with the current website and the intended change is enough to begin. Add a deadline if it matters and any assets you already have. I can suggest a next step from there.
